FAQs

1. How long is the process of adopting a dog?

Normally, it takes 2-3 weeks for us to process everything. We will need to do some background check for us to be sure that you are a fit. After our verification, then we’ll work on the paper works so you can have the ownership.

2. Can I adopt a dog today?

Yes you can. Just submit all of the requirements then we’ll get back to you for verification. After that, the process continues until you already get your dog assuming that you pass the screening process. If you didn’t pass our assessment, we’ll call you back and explain the situation to you.

3. Do you pay your volunteers?

Unfortunately, we don’t pay our volunteers money. However, we do provide generous meals whenever we have activities and also conduct free workshops. Also, you will receive a small token at the end of the activity that you volunteered to.

4. Is there an age requirement to volunteer?

The only limit is you have to be 18 for you to volunteer. However, those that are younger than 18 can still join provided that their parents or legal guardian is also joining the event. We believe that volunteerism should be for everyone that’s why we are opening our doors to everybody.

5. Do you provide free veterinary services?

Unfortunately, we don’t. We don’t have a fulltime doctor in the shelter but for those who will adopt, we normally do an initial check up so you can have a baseline in the future when you go to your own vets.

6. How about cats?

Unfortunately, we still don’t have plans to venture to other pets as we have some logistic concerns. However, there are many other groups that cater specifically to cats. They also rescue those cats that don’t have a home.
